I think I'll definitely become a lalafell if this ever comes to pass. Haahaha!
I personally don't mind differenet sizes for some mounts, but that's mostly because I know what mounts don't change size for race.
Also, the smaller mounts feel like they're going faster, and I like that.
The Regalia mount for Lalafels should just be this but in a Regalia livery.
And yes they should be forced to use their feet to move it.
Let's be frank... the scaling for mounts like the Carbuncle became a debacle all because there was an insistence regarding mount-size equality for the Lalafell race.

And how exactly do you plan on getting on the mount if it is same sized than a Roe's one ?
Think about that
Plus, come on, you have the cutest, les pixelized Carbuncle mount so why whining ? xD
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
For the people thinking lalafell can't get on big mounts, to be fair, you summon the mounts, so they appear underneath you, at least, that's what it looks like to me, never really paid attention to the animation.
As several people have said, I prefer small mounts too - leaves more screen space to see other stuff.
Though it would be nice if we could scale the mounts to our liking, there would be the matter of whether the mount scaling should apply to each individual mount or to all mounts.
So, you think picking on Lalas for their size is fun, huh?! Just a friendly reminder: We have ideal height to headbutt your balls, so you better keep this in mind.
Get rid of Lalafel.
Problem solved!
Yes~!... it would be nice if we could scale the mounts to our liking,...
I want tiny carbuncle battlesteeds and GIGANTIC TREX OF DOOM
