Locking lvl 370 items behind savage content IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

Just as the title says.
I was trying to do O5S lately in order to get start gaining something in this game and i end up hating O5S so much i was trying to do it 4 times already i give up, ending up with pugs being constantly dropped from the platform and touched by the ghosts, because the way hitboxes and hit registration in this game works is a nightmare and a total BS.
There are too many mechanics to execute them with the group of random people and the enrage timer doesnt help it at all.
It makes me to drop this game and sub right away, due to the fact you HAVE TO complete it in order to proceed your progression further.
Also i dont understand one thing, why does SE are so much against parsers, when they have just released a content so heavly based on the DPS check where these parsers are necessary in order to finish the content without losing it every second time. Are they mad or something? Because i am, why? Because end game is drastically different from what i have experienced in this game so far and i have just hit a ceiling with my stupid head.
I like alliance raids, gold saucer, i kinda like dungeons i like doing omega outside of savage, and what? It will not give me the stuff i am looking for because 370 item level is ENTIRELY gated behind that content with this diabolic thing called enrage timer. Why? why are you forcing your players to play a numbers game with parser, in freaking 2018?
Give us at least and OPTION TO FARM one piece of this equipment doing other content or with tomestones, make it so we need to play 1 month to get one, BUT AT LEAST GIVE US AND OPTION to earn this thing, LIKE ANY OTHER MMO DOES since 1997.
Yes I AM BAD AND I FEEL BAD, but i am still a player that cannot do the content that gates my character progression, i sit at ilvl 354 and i am like 30% weaker than the guys who have a good guild and do the savage content with help of a parser and the items they already got, thats really nice isnt.
It is not funny to keep trying, wasting time and get nothing at all, why should i try to do it for the 10 time if i could play something else. For seven hells i cant think of a mmo that was infuriating me so bad lately, i was thinking ESO and their expert dungeons were stupid, but at least your item progression wasnt so heavly limited there, and FFXIV just broke all my expectations.
I understand some hardcore gamers should have their place in the game, and i am happy with it, they could have it all i dont mind, but lets say eureka is already here, there was a GIANT opportunity to throw in there 370 ilvl items for players who like just to farm but cant do the savage content because of the reasons. Why it have not been done? They pushed resources to the content lately that would be a great opposition to omega savesht but is not, because the rewards are meaningful and it will be forgotten within 1 month. Why?
Also i dont understand the logic behind argument of "because 370 ilvl is a reward for doing savage!", yes a reward for being a slave forced to do one thing over and over and over, thats so much fun, lets make a party!

And for those reasons you have tome gear which you can grind and by the time you get the full set, new patch will likely be up and a new ilvl with it.

No you don't. You can get 360 via other means right now, which is far more than non-savage content requires.

Next patch will be adding another alliance raid, and thus another coin to upgrade mendacity gear to 370, thus catching up to savage (which won't have another tier yet).

Savage is the hardest content in the game effectively, so yes, it gets a head start on the top end gear. But it's pretty quickly made available to folks like us (I don't do savage either) via other means. I expect Eureka gear will get another tier as well.

Endgame has lots of things. Savage is one of them, and it's meant for the segment of the playerbase that finds the other stuff too easy. If you don't fit into that group, that's fine. You've got lots of other ways to get gear. You just can't get 370 until April or May, at which point you can via the next alliance raid.

You're not weaker than they were when they started doing savage, though. And in terms of the content that you are doing, you're far more powerful. The gap between 360 and 370 is irrelevant in non-savage content. It's not as big as you seem to believe it is.

if its you're first foray into savage, it's going to take quite a few more attempts than that. O5S is exceptionally notorious this tier for stupid wipes based just on the the randomness and people not thinking light on their feet.

When the new alliance raid is released, it should give you a weekly token for clearing it, which will let you upgrade your 360 tomestone gear to 370.

And for that reason, only complaining, it is called Savage. Takes practice if your dropping your subscription over that one piece of content good riddance.

An honest and serious question - if you aren't doing Savage/Ultimate why do you believe you need that gear? The highest ilvl check outside of Savage right now is Byakko EX which can (and is) comfortably completed at it's min ilvl of 340 all the time via PF.

Also I'm not sure where you're getting this 30% weaker statistic - maybe you should look up the gear you're talking about and compare it to what you're wearing. You're ilvl354, I'm doing o5/o6 Savage right now and since I'm gearing healer/caster at the same time neither of them is even that high. You have a higher ilvl than I do.

You aren't entitled to easy 370 gear. There should be an incentive to raid.

If you're 30% weaker at i354 than... well, anyone else in the game, look in the mirror. I can guarantee there's a skill gap in addition to the iLevel gap.

I personally think this game is really kind with how it hands gear to people. Everyone has easy access to i360 tome gear and now you don't even need to do Byakko for a 5 slot i355 weapon. Early i370 gear and the satisfaction from clearing the content are basically the only things raiders get in this game, the former being rendered null and void due to the fact tomestone upgrades come with the 24 man patches, and you want to take that away?

Oher few nitpicks I have regarding your post:
1 - Assuming you're a tank, your entire right side bis can be gotten without Savage (crafted i350). Ilvl can be an arbitrary number at times.
2 - You don't even have a full tome set yet.
3 - Everything currently in the game is clearable at i350.

If you don't like PUGs, trying to form a dedicated group or even a static to consistently do this content together. Making your own party with your own expectations is also a thing, but this late in the tier it's mostly people who couldn't clear before, people new to raiding and bored vets that are still doing O5S clears on PUGs. And if you don't want to do/don't like Savage (which...seems to be the case), just don't bother with the content. You won't die because you're doing a few hundred less DPS on dungeons.
