I kinda wanna know what you shouted and how frequent.

If you spammed then you could get a warning for spaming but not a ban. Unless you were harrasing people or advertising RMT goods.

Do you sell frequent? Seems to me pretty inefficient method unless you selling Crafting packs or something.

I don't personally have a problem with it. But when you think about it. If shouting became the norm, it would get quite messy in that chat box wouldn't it?

If you would like an alternative method to selling your goods, I'd suggest perhaps creating a party finder and listing the items you wish to sell in the message box. I've actually seen many players do this before.

IF a GM talks to you as long as it's a valid reason it's not really going against the rules. IF the answer you give is not valid they will just warn you and request to keep it to the MB.

While I haven't sold anything this way, I have found crafters this way whenever I want/need one to make something. It's pretty effective. Just don't list it under a roulette. Seriously, seeing that crap is annoying.

So long as you aren't doing RMT (Real Money Trade) or flooding the chat quickly with it, you should be fine.

Just pace yourself.

You wont get banned on a first offence for something so very minor (simply shouting).

However you should reflect on how the community is reacting to your shouting. We dont know what you were shouting or how often, for all we know you could have been spamming and clogging the shoutbox.

Something that is unacceptable to the community will get you punished in other ways. For example, multiple offence early pullers at hunts will get banned from the hunt LSes once word gets around.

Also you can edit your first post to bypass the 1000 word limit and write as much as you like. ^^)/

You shouldn't get banned unless you were spamming it like people spam emotes with the dialog box on. I have done shouts like that in order to RP, like on Moonfire fair I set up a "booth" on the beach and would sell the fish n' chips at Eorzean night time and I was advertising via yell every few minutes. Never had any issues with people but I think they understood I was RPing since I had several slogans to sell my stuff and would bow and thank each customer. I did this everyday the Moonefire Faire was active and no one ever said anything like they were going to report me.

There is a blacklist for a reason if they don't want to see it they have the option to use it no ban

I just have to say I love people like you during Moonfire Faire. It really helps out new people to the game or those who might be late in doing the event if someone is helping out by making the seasonal event only crafting food items. They should make it so the fish can be caught outside of the event though. Even if it's just so people can stock up on it and then make a stack of the dish. That's the only dish that was/is attached to a seasonal event you can't make outside of it because the fish doesn't exist the rest of the year.
