    Question about steam xiv

    hello all

    I got a question about the steam reg code, I got ffxiv:arr & heavensward not from steam, my friend got me ffxiv starter pack & stormsblood on steam but I can not reg the key's to my account & was hoping anyone can help me with this please & thank you for any help

    I for got to add that I can play on ffxiv but only in ARR & HW area's

    You cannot add steam codes to a non steam account. it should be all over the product pages for both steam and non steam versions.

    Steam is treated as a separate console/license. I know it sounds weird but even though you might have the PC version of FF XIV, if it's not the Steam version, the Steam version of your expansions won't work. I found this out during the Heavensward launch and almost lost money. Thankfully SE refunded me Heavensward and I bought it on Steam.
