Does anyone know how Jumbo Cactpot work in term of coming up with the winning number?
Do the system pick 4 random number or does it pick random purchased ticket, because the chance of 4 zeros' come up with all 4 digits is while possible I find it hard to swallow because of how improbable that is. This week (25 March 2018) draw on Kujata is apparently 0000.

I think full random rather than pick a randomly purchased ticket because you have weeks of no winners. 0000 combination though unlikely is the same likekihood as any other combination of numbers. Lucky for anyone who forgot to fill in their numbers this week and just hit confirm on the default which is 0000.

I don't know where or how the rumor started in regards to it picking a numebr from those that have been picked.
It's not a blind box draw, it's a powerball type thing. It's literally archers shooting arrows at giant spinning number wheels, you can see them do it.

It being a completely random number is what makes the most sense.

For the record it was 0222 on Hyperion. I'll never win!

Its 4 digits, with 10 options each. So 1 in ten thousand, not one in a million. I know its a saying, but that bothers the math part of my brain just a little bit.

the chance of all 4 digits each coming up zeros is 1/10 x 1/10 x 1/10 x 1/10, which is 1/10,000. every single number is equally improbable.

and the system absolutely does not pick from purchased tickets because if it did every week would have a winner and we know that to not happen.

I found that double digits tend to be most common winnable combinations 2253 or 4408

That further proves that SE's rng is very chain like. Have you guys ever crafted? You either miss 4 80% in a row or you don't miss any in the next 15 steps.
