    Is this disruptive behaviour?

Let me provide you all with some context. I queued into leveling roulette as my level 69 ninja and got into the level 69 dungeon. We started progressing and killing and just before the first boss the tank runs back to the beginning and and sits down without saying a word, we tried to be patient assuming maybe it was an emergency, but he never came back. After waiting 15 minutes we finally decided we needed to boot him or we would not finish the dungeon in time. Later after replenishing our party we moved forward and just before the second boss our healer reaches level 70. As soon as they reached level 70 they left the dungeon only to leave us once again looking for another hard to find important role so we can finish the dungeon. I myself try not to be so critical about everything, however i wanted to get other peoples opinions on this as i have started seeing this happen a lot more often and i do kind of feel that its rude behavior and not right to do that sort of thing to other people who are trying to get things done because they don't have as much time to play the game as others.. I feel as though when you click that commence button on a duty you should be committed to it unless something important comes up. Not intentionally leave halfway through because you capped and don't feel like finishing the run. Being lucky we managed to get a healer and tank to finish it, but i feel that some people aren't that lucky and have to end up with a botched run simply because the person who left was lazy or something. Now don't get me wrong, this is less of a rant and more of a post to find out where other people stand on this. I welcome everyone's opinions whether i agree or disagree with them.

It's hard to have a definitive opinion on this specific incident given the lack of both sides of the story; however, neither situation sounds like the individual was dealing with an IRL emergency. If the tank had time to run back to the beginning and sit down, then odds are they were being rude. The odds are also unlikely that the healer just happened to have an emergency pop up the second they hit level 70.

RL happens, but if you have the time to run back to the entrance or manually leave the instance/shut the game off (as opposed to immediately leaving your seat), you likely had a few extra seconds to say "something came up irl, gotta go, sorry".

I don't play very frequently during the week, so my personal experiences may not be indicative of whether this is really a widespread issue or not, but I'm leaning towards 'not'. It's unfortunate when you run into those kinds of people though.

I don't know what the tank was doing, frankly. That doesn't make much sense at all unless he's hoping to get kicked. The healer was rude, yes.

Unfortunately people like that are out there sometimes.

The tank sitting down is someone that would get GM slapped easily....with zero communication and no indications of whats going on....its considered very offensive.

However...if someone "ditches" the dungeon..that sadly is preferred over "sitting down doing nothing"

It's not fun...but that's just how it is.

Everything else is basically subjective....if your not sure...ask a GM.

Generally anyone who does things like that - will end up blacklisted for my purposes anyway....but it depends on what/who/why/when/where/how.

Sadly I hate to tell you this you will encounter players like that. Once they reach their goals they forget about others. Kind of why I tend to stay away from FC's. Their are a couple of options though, IF you have a FC or Tank LS for these situations they can be overcome. Also If they just exit they get a penalty, kind of why they like to taunt people into vote kick instead.

I do agree with you on that. Also about the part where you said whether its widespread or not. All i know is if its not widespread then i have been having some bad luck hehe. I have managed to end up with these types of people a good few times over the past couple weeks and i feel it can be frustrating.

The white probably left because they were just as annoyed as you were about the tank. Not saying what he did was right, but they probably had a f%#$ this moment once they dinged

I can understand a little if it is because they were frustrated, however when the healer left it was after we had gotten a new tank and were making good progress again. So it makes me wonder if its really due to that. What really seems suspicious is that they left once they reached level 70. It just seems like too much to be a coincidence.

From your Contact List after you've left the instance.
However this doesn't stop you from being grouped with them last I checked, it just stops their chat from showing up in your log.
