Commendations, Tank vs Healer.

So tanks and healers normally receive the commendations, however I was wondering which one normally receives more. From what I have seen, it seems to be healers.

I recently though about this because of a dungeon experience.

1. We had a troll tank who went AFK and we kicked him. I was the healer. We were in Aurum Vale. So after waiting a few minutes a new tank joined us.

2. The tank was very nice and kept giving us short advice before each boss. However, no one in the dungeon was new at all and have ran the dungeon many times.

3. So I asked the tank if she thought we were new. She said that she was just trying to get commendations to get mentor status.

4. At the end, I gave her a commendation and this is what the chat looked like

The Aurum Vale has ended.
You received a player commendation!
You received a player commendation!
You received a player commendation!

So, as you can see, even though the tank gave advice, replaced a troll tank, needed comms for a specific reason, and asked for them nicely....I still got all of them. She only got the one I gave her.

Is this a tank vs healer thing? No one died in the dungeon.
Or, is this a thing where people do not like when players ask for comms?

Just curious about everyone's opinion on this. I do not think any answer is right or wrong, just interested in your experience.

I can't say for certain, because I only really play healer, but typically in a dungeon I generally get 2-3 comms regardless of how good the tank was... I typically comm the tank though?

I get more comms on healer than tank. I attributed that to the fact that I'm a significantly better healer than I am a tank, though. Never thought it was a trend. But now that you mention it...

If I'm tank I comm the healer.
If I'm healer I comm the tank.
If I'm DPS I commend the other DPS.

Someone has to be pretty obnoxious for me to not give them the commendation.

As far as I can recall no one has ever directly asked me to give them a commendation, I wouldn't not give it them, but I also doubt I'd change from my normal system either.

Generally, I will make a point to com DPS as I feel they rarely get them. Basically though, as long as you don't outright ask for one or are a complete douche to the party, you are a candidate for that com at the end of the run.

Yeah, I'll never comm if someone asks for it specifically.

I earn the most comms when I am a healer but I also get a decent amount as dps. I get the least amount when I am a tank regardless of how I did.

I had the commendation requirement finished months before I had 1000 dungeons complete so I am wondering why anyone would still not have enough of them by then?

I also have a similar system for handing out comms as people above but I do this because I do not like the vote or judge so it's the easiest way to spread them out equally.
