    That sentence makes absolutely no sense. No way to gain anything? NM train groups aren't there for experience while popping a NM, they are there for the NM fate xp. Its the fastest way to level, so naturally people are going to go to that. your cousins level does not matter when in NM train groups so if he is activly avoiding NM train groups in search of ones full of people his level then it is his fault.

    Why would you follow the NM train, solo, at level 4, and then expect 100% xp on fates that aren't your level?? They are no different than normal fates....

    Here is my issue with your complaint.

    You haven't played it yet, at all, and are now here making a complaint based on watching someone who doesnt know what they are doing. (as far as eureka goes)

    Get where this is going? I work a FT job working 60+ a week, have kids, a wife and I am level 20 in eureka.... To sit and blame SE for your cousins lack of inhibitions.. Classic!

    There are serious problems with underlevels in Eureka, period.

    1. Underlevels can't use the aetherytes till 9, meaning that they can miss out on FATES that are across the map over people who can just port.
    2. Underlevels can't sync up, only down, to FATES. 20s can contribute meaningfully to any FATE in the game, underlevels can't.
    3. Underlevels aggro everything, but the higher you level the less you aggro period and the more you can deal with them.
    4. Getting protean crystals and exp through grinding is more or less useless til very high levels. This leads to FATEs being the only real viable way.
    5. The level gap is very tight; you can only solo your exactl level or less. Damage increases too much with just a mob being one level above you. FFXI had this problem too, except that even matches often were impossible to solo.
    6. Pop mobs are 4 + levels above the fate they spawn, putting a barrier for people the same level as it to spawn mobs.

    Essentially SE frontloaded a lot of the difficulty at the early levels. This leads to pretty boring gameplay as people leech. If you get to about 15ish though, you are in pretty good shape for virtually anything; until then you fall asleep training.

    1) -- So? everyone started at a lower level, unable to use the aetherytes. Deal with it...like everyone else did, its not difficult.
    2) Again...so? Everyone had to deal with this. They are no different than fates in the normal part of the game so I dont understand the issue? Join a party and then do the fates. Pretty Simple
    3) Again...so? Everyone has to deal with this. It's not a problem with eureka.


    just reading your post disgusts me. Here we go with the "ITS TOO HARD" complaints (which is what your post boils down too)

    Do you think that all the players that are level 15+ started out at level 10 or something? We ALLLLLLLL started out at level 1... WE ALLLLL dealt with the things you are complaining about. Stop crying over something because its hard

    your newly added 4-6 I wont even bother responding too because its the same answer... Deal with it..


    Not to devalue your complaint, but you are basically asking for nerfs on Eureka so its easier. I don't agree with that at all! It does NOT take long to get to level 9.... Just join a fate group and off you go!!

    I'm not by any means saying that Eureka is perfect... it is FAR from perfect. But, the difficulty is a great change IMO.

    The problem is that it's hard at low levels, not at high ones. The only difficulty is enduring to level 20, which isn't good design. So people are getting really bored at how limited the exp curve is; you just sit around in party waiting for a few people to take care of things, and the amount of things you can contribute meaningfully too is very little till you hit 15. The difficulty makes people get carried at low levels instead of having fun

    The problem of the exp gain is a problem that always existed in the game but no1 knew since the game doesn't really work like Eureka in terms of levelling at least in my point of wiew, If some1 that paertipated to the N than fate train can confirm or not that a 10+ level difference makes exp from enemies nil It's appreciated

    Personally, I'll run across the whole map to pick someone up. Pick up as in Raise.
    Even if it means i'll miss out on a fate.

    You do not need incentives to help other people.


    Oh btw, the actual damage output does not seem to matter for contributions.
    Even if you everyone in the pt does like 10 dmg per hit, you should be able to easily get gold.
    Granted you stay alive.

    Where SE dropped the ball, lower tier NMs should have a much much MUCH shorter respawn time than higher tier mobs.

    Consider the respawn time of said NMs, the 1-5, it seems to be 2hrs. So a lower level player is forced to join the train because they don't have a suitable means to level up, and Sabotender's 3k xp isn't going to be OP for anyone, people just do it because it's part of the rotation.

    It would make sense if the respawn timer of lower end was something like 15-30mins with higher tiers being 1hr going up to 2hrs.

    Don‘t know if it‘s been posted already.

    Yoshi-p has random streams called "Yoshi-p's walk" on Niconico when he feels like it, where he visits a random JP server and plays with people on that server. During tonight's stream, he revealed some back stories and future updates to Eureka.

    Eureka's first goal was to reanimate "Right after the launch of an MMO".

    Eureka will get an update in patch 4.3x.

    The next Eureka area:***** (Word will replace Anemos) will have a few new functions and game play elements added to it. (He hinted at something you can do solo as well)

    They are planning a levelsync system so players who started late can catch up (note: Not talking about the levelsync for NMs, but a levelsync you can use anywhere in Eureka)

    If they make it too convenient, Eureka will just turn into another/the usual FFXIV, so they will need to find a balance in between.

    The next hot fixes (planned for the end of March) will include some improvements to the game play and adjustments to the lock boxes.

    The hot fixes coming after the above hot fixes will include adjustments to "identifying Anemos crystals" to make it easier to turn Anemos crytals into inferior crystals.

    Seems good, though I would've preferred a different approach to the lvelling, that said it's also true that if you delevel you keep your element so in a way the magicites works as a buffer but we'll see

    The problem with POTD 101 is that Yoshi thought for some reason it was more important to make it a solo competition than stuff we should actually do. He added a leaderboard, which is useless, and the whole "must start from 51" thing is totally pointless if all you want to do is do the content like the rest of POTD, just harder. He spent effort on that, and most people gave up on it, because it's not how they used POTD.

    Eureka is soloable, its just for some reason, Yoshi felt it should be practically impossible to get any real exp from it past the first couple of levels. So you can go exp solo, but its incredibly unrewarding for time spent.

    The dev team seems to have one single vision for its content, and constantly gets surprised when players don't share that vision.
