    I constantly type /sigh in game, only to be /disappointed when it gives me an error.

    /sigh

    I'd expect the shoulders to go up and down, the toon to slump a bit, and maybe add in a slight headshake.

    For variations, I draw inspiration from my experience teaching teenagers...big inhale, exaggerated exhale, gaze at ceiling seeking help from divine sources. Or do the sigh and then put one hand over the face in despair (other hand tucked under elbow/wrapped around ribs). Or rub eyebrows/bridge of nose. I have done all of these, sometimes several times in a row. XD Bonus points if you've got a 'Why God why' expression. They think it's hilarious.

    I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

    Female Lalas clutch their heads and fall to their knees, I believe. Female Hyur also fall to their knees in despair, both hands on the ground. Male Elezen fall to their knees with one hand on the ground. I guess male Lalas are inherently more optimistic? XD

    Actually I was able to check when I logged in. First of the /disappointed is the for all lalas; why the emote is not called despair I'll never know. And the /sigh emote OP is looking fir is /upset. It's the one I mentioned before, roll our shoulders, breathe in, hang our heads, then exhale.
