Can't invite some sprouts to novice network.

Several mentors have been trying to send one sprout an invitation to novice network. It says "Unable to invite to Novice Network. That player is not accepting invitations at this time." None of us know what we can do to resolve this and actually get him in. What is barring them from accepting invitations?

They'll have toggled their ability to receive Novice Network invitations with /novicenetworkinvitation off. If they want to be able to receive invites, they'll need to use /novicenetworkinvitation on.

I'm guessing they were just running along, minding their own business, and BAM, full screen invite from out of the blue by someone in another zone that they've never met.

Decline -> Block all future invites

We're on the same server - that's been a problem a few times before because a lot of sprouts tend to get hit with all kinds of invites. Of the four servers I've done a test run through on a sprout alt, Siren has been particularly bad about these blind invites.

It's not just a blind invite, it's a giant popup in the middle of your screen with a picture of the starting town NPCs.

In some places it's not just the NN, but also to FC's.

When I first started this game, a mentor sent me a /tell and ASKED ME if I wanted to join the novice network. It's not that hard to simply ask before shooting out random invites. You'll get a lot more results that way.

The thing is a lot of people don't want to waste the time to ask or don't like the reply they get when they do.
