What interesting social experiences did you have while in there? (ERP need not apply)
I'll start.

Proper disclosure, my main character is based in name and looks on a Marvel Comics character. I don't know if I'd even call him a B-lister, so not as many people recognize the name as they would've if I had picked 'Steve Rogers'. Still, it's not rare that in the middle of fighting an NM I'll suddenly see my name dropped in shout from someone who recognized the reference, and an amusing short chat will ensue just as publicly.

Then I got a tell from someone whose hunt-related thread I replied to on the forums who remembered me despite that thread being several months old.

How about you guys? Any interesting run-ins in an instance that lets you be with 143 other players from your data center?

I primary run as my WHM Teledji Adeledji' alt + "The Unsevered" title and get a few chuckles when I run to res someone from a nasty spot. got some compliments on the glams/title combos and my macros lol
I'm usually in game at night after work for a couple of hours so I seldom feel my brain strong enough to do any good half-jokes but I tend to throw some or act comically in-character claiming I stole the loot and left fireworks from PotD in there, just a little something when the NM train slows down.

Ah the young Avenger I see lol. I've come across some old friends from FFXI who recognize my name and reconnected in RL.

He usually goes by "Billy" and like Manuel said he was originally on the Young Avengers, more recently part of Al Ewing's New Avengers.

Last night was my 2nd time in. Started out with just me and this blm. We got joined with a rdm and we all dinged to level 3 and then stopped after we got the 30 combo ding. After we completed the lv 3 quest the rdm left us but we picked up a sam n brd then a drk and a nin and farmed the sabotenders. Most of us were still trying to figure things out while trying to spawn the NM. Near the end of my time in there it finally spawned and I wasn't expecting a stack marker. Thankfully the train came and saved the spawn. It was really fun even if there wasn't much actual chit chat. Also just as a warning to anyone else who hasn't done the level 3 quest yet don't go near the house the item is in at night because ghosts will eat you.

I had a group who was in the NM train, most of us were 16+. One of our members leveled to 17 and asked us if we'd transport him to the level 17 story spot. We got him out just fine, but going back I discovered a few people dead near the sharks.

What happened next was what can only be described as a Death Loop, where we (ver)Raised each other back and forth until we all got out. We all had a laugh and we usually see each other in there occasionally now.

nothing super interesting for me in Eureka, occasionally i'd run into my friend's friends who don't know me.

your guy is a D-list character.

A-List (everybody knows they are comic book characters) - Wolverine, Spiderman, Captain America
B-List (every comic fan knows them, regular people might know they are comic characters if you remind them) - Cyclops, Venom, Hawkeye, any of the FF, any of the Defenders at this point
C-List (most comic fans know of them, very likely at one point had their own ongoing comic title)- Cable, Wasp, She-Hulk
D-List (possibly unknown to comic fans who don't read that line of comics)

before the MCU it used to be so much easier to distinguish.

and really, only D-Listers and very few C-Listers will generate conversation, mimicking A and B-listers is lame/unoriginal.
