Issue with Name Change after Transfer

Unfortunately once it's flagged as a name change, you have to change the name, even though the name you currently have might actually be available now (as your original character moved off). I've personally never heard of GMs or support removing that flag, but anything is possible, but your fastest solution would just be to change the name to anything else and then purchase a name change to change it back. I know it's far from ideal, but I think that's really your only solution. There's also the risk of someone else taking the name while you wait for support to possibly do something (as right now it isn't actually taken by anyone).

Unfortunately, once the name change flag has been put on that character, there isn't a way to lift it. You will have to change the name of the character in order to log into it.
