itl still be an issue when there are no materials yet on the server and people want tons of gil for them that people do not yet have
granted there are those who want to deal with this, but there will be plenty who wont

Where you see an "issue," I see an interesting opportunity...
At launch... there were no high level crafters... the first person with a Bronze Haubergeon looked like a god.... Even though now that would be laughable... I enjoyed seeing who would be the first in XXXXX class to hit 50

That's gonna change on the new servers probably that are all new people. There won't be a way to get crazy gil like leves did back in the day. So I think the new servers will probably have better economy than we do.

^^This. The economy of pre-existing servers will be very different from that of new servers.
And of course the several hundred players on each who have a 2 year head start will at least for a while have a huge impact on those servers.
...and you'll only see Goobbue mounts and Onion Helms on those servers, ever.

Make it happen.
*shrug* what does it really matter? New servers are very attractive to some, unattractive to others. Some people only like end-game content. Some people like to xp and learn things and craft things.
Not sure what complaining about it is supposed to do? They're gonig to need new servers either way.
