I get what you are saying, I do, but it is simply part of online communities. They don't always forget things and especially if it is a random anonymous person online that they don't know personally they are less likely to give you more chances if you do the same things multiple times and when it seems to me you often don't accept it when you are incorrect about something and admit you were wrong.
I don't think I've ever seen you admit you were incorrect when people clarify things to you. You usually just keep replying and changing what you reply to something else entirely instead of just conceding you make a mistake. Again, not trying to be mean or anything I am just trying to tell you honestly how you come off...at least to me.
Similar situation happened in the Tales thread recently where another poster refused to admit they were wrong even with tons of evidence that they were. People usually just don't appreciate it when people act like that.
If you seemed to listen more to what others say and actually think it through or ask questions about why you were incorrect about something I think people would be way less likely to bring up past problems. It seems to me you don't often end any discussion on a good note because you are usually completely unbending even when presented with facts.
