Latest update causing kernel panics on MacOS Sierra

Greetings, the latest update seems to have brought some issues with it for macos users.

Intermittently while playing ffxiv, I will suffer a kernel panic. This was not an issue before the update.

I am running the LATEST iteration of MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 as well as safari for sierra.
Below I will list my hardware.

    Geforce GTX 750 ti
    i3 2130 @ 3.39ghz
    8gb of ram
NVIDIA Web Driver: 378.05.05.25f01 (this appears to be the latest)

Below, I will include a log of the incident as provided to me by the console application.

Hello misterbones, Thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Can you please explain exactly what you mean by "kernel panic"

Have you tried playing the game without any overlays or background applications?

What steps have you tried to resolve this issue?

    Hope to be of assistance.

Greetings. What I mean is, the entire OS crashes by means of a kernel panic, which is similar to a blue screen on your windows machine.

    For steps, I have tried:

    - Reinstalling MacOS
    - Redownloading FFXIV onto of that
    - Have tried installing and reinstalling the latest iterations of macOS, macOS beta, Nvidia web driver etc.

There are no "overlays" on macOS, so no I am not. Chrome is sometimes running but the crashing occurs even without it. It has occurred on a vanilla install.

This game causing macOS to kernel panic is all over the forums. What more is it going to take for this issue not to be treated like user error?

Thank you for the reply misterbones.

Unfortunately, this is the only report I've seen about this issue recently, but we should still be able to assist.

I'd suggest starting the Mac in safe mode. Restart your Mac, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button. Immediately after your Mac starts, press and hold the Shift key. Release the Shift key when the Apple logo appears on your display. Release the Shift key when you see the login window.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
