Missed the wave, where to ride?

Hi all,

So I haven't been able to log in until today since Eureka dropped, but I am finding it impossible to find a group that'll accept a level 2 MNK. If I post a group titled especially to reel in lowbie like myself - no one joins.

So, my question, what's my best course of action to leveling and engaging in some group content? The thought of solo farming level mobs to an appropriate level - at 40-50 exp per mob is starting to make me question why I play MMOS lol.

Keep asking for a group anyway. Some people will take you anyway and you can leech some NMs until you get to a decent level. Alternatively, if you have a helpful FC/LS/Friends, they can take you until you get a couple of exp.

Best approach from what i've seen lower levels do is make a pf for 2-4 roughly either go with the train or just go near the trains within a few yards or so and kill separate mobs to get some xp while the train kills and gets no xp. Just be quick when shouts go off, things die really fast and with the lag it's atrocious trying to hit the mob and get gold.

The reason why you won't get taken is too low of levels you won't get much xp from the higher enemies and even 1 level over the mobs level you get any xp so you have to constantly fight higher end mobs.

Look or shout out for the xp fairy as it helps quite a bit with healing and xp boost.

Be a healer and a professional rezzer. Levels are irrelevant for healers and rdms.

I just hit level 20 today and have been helping some lower level fcs members leveling with 2 other almost cap members and I had a great time doing it. So ask friends and fc I guess?

well,no choice,spam chat to get invited and go leech NM,cause SE fucked up there and since 99% of player just do NM,you have no choice but to do that.

Do you have an FC who can follow the NM train with you and raise you when you die so you can get some xp? I don't understand why people are upset about "leeching" from low level players when this is now the only way for them to level up pretty much. and it's not like a level 2 will do much damage to an NM 7 levels higher.

Most high level groups I've instanced with dont care about letting low levels leech off of the NM exp. They know it's the fastest way of leveling and it doesn't affect their own exp or anemos crystal drops, so no real issue.

They're also quick to res when you get one shot, so dying isnt a big issue. Just have to to find 1 solid group that works well and you'll get 3-4 levels in one instance.

I am in the same boat Op, except i am level 8. Unless your fate zerging and at a higher level people seem to ignore players that are low level.
Past few days i have shouted multiple times and just eventually log off because of how annoying it is.

You don't have to be a MNK while doing Eureka. The way the instance plays, any class with a Rez action will get picked up, no matter the level. So play a healer/RDM/SMN and you can still save up for MNK relic gear.
