I vote I hate it. To much lag and disconnects. Tired of not being able to see mobs that party is attacking because there invisible and tired of invisible aoe attacks. Before can even get to fate its over and shouldn't take 3 hours to gain 1/3 of a level from grinding. I have to give it 2 thumbs down and 1/4 star rating out of 4.
I mostly like it, though something really needs to be done to reward players for activity, because I get really sick of seeing players just idling by the "train" when they could realistically be helping to kill stuff, but they ultimately miss out on almost nothing by doing nothing.

Funny enough someone on reddit did post a discussion with a GM and its completely fine for lower players to not help with spawning fates if they are simply to low for it. It is bad if you try to get these people killed. Interestingly someone that is playing on JP servers wrote that he did have instances where the japanese playerbase acted the same as us. (AFKing) So I place most of the blame on SE for this.
Also the JP poll someone posted is a bit bad too. First we have the JP forum here on this side where the highest likes went to posts that really disliked it. And this poll was done on a blog side. Still right now its split between half liking it and the other half are (neutral or negative). Not a good thing even if they might be more positive about this. The comments bellow the poll are also kinda telling. Some are really really harsh on it. (At least when I read the translation by reddit)
Yes we only have a real number with the hate/love options (where the hate one is more) because the third option is just a bad question. "Meh" is a hint that something is not that fine, yet there is the "its fine" after that. So what is it? A neutral option? Or completely down to interpretation by the ones that use that option? So in the way its kinda useless. On the reddit thread there were quite a bit of posters saying that it was alright but needs much better improvments to be great. So they kinda fall in this. At the same time we simply have no options to state that we dont care about Eureka so who knows how many chose the third one simply because they had no other option?
And the other side was also quite fast to count those Meh votes towards the "I love it" so they are imo also wrong to do that.
In the end we know that more people in this poll hate it than love it and a slightly bigger amount are Meh about it. Not sure if this can count as a successful content imo. Anyway we will see how this goes when SE finally posts about this.
Thats imo not a good way to see the poll. We have 30% hating it and 28% loving it. The 42% are Meh. We simply dont know if they are more towards like or dislike. You are using the same argument that someone uses when they count the Meh options purely toward hating. And just because you have a post on one side those not change the opinions on another..(and suddenly this poll is worth a thing while our forum posts were nothing but minority)
The JP poll was done outside of the forum on a blog. With even less votes than our poll. The JP playerbase on the forum is mostly negative about this content with posts that had over 100 likes. We cant simply go around and say that one poll is suddenly worth more than the opinions on one site. Thats just ignoring informations to make it look different.
Right now we simply have two opinions. Those on the forum and the polls. Both show a direction and both are imo not completely positive towards Eureka. If we had a poll that was asked ingame and that most people that played took then we would have our clear statistics. (If it has better questions..) You cant just state that the forum is a minority and yet suddenly claim that the low amount of votes are what the majority see.

Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

It's a neutral-good option, that's why I also said that the poll is biased. And even if it's biased towards my personal opinion, at least I don't twist the "Meh" to claim that I'm in the "majority".
Your suggestion to have much more option is a good one, exactly because right now, the only thing what we can claim is that 30% hates it and 28% loves it (pretty even), and we can't place the people in-between.

This is a terrible poll. The only options are extreme like, extreme dislike, or indifference. The indifferent option doesn't tell us whether the person is leaning more towards liking it or disliking it.

The "hate it" option means they just hate it and doesn't want to hear about it.
The "Meh, it's ok" I think it's self-explanatory. It means that it might not be the best content, but they accept it.
Therefore, people hating Eureka is still a minority.
And people won't make lots of threads talking about how cool is Eureka because when you like something, there's no need to waste time on forums, you just play it.
What all of this proves is that Eureka is a nice start of a new content style, and that SE should improve the next Eureka maps, keeping the base of it.
People hated it at start, but now everybody knows how Eureka works at higher levels and how doable is to make the relics.
Haters are living in the past, at level 1, ignoring all we learned from Eureka. That's why new hating threads with wrong info keep popping every now and then.

No you simply cant. Because the option itself is way too open for interpretation. As I said maybe someone wanted to vote that they dont care and just voted for Meh. Maybe for some its okay for a short while and it needs huge improvment.
All that we know is that 30% truly hate it and 28% truly love it. The other option cant be put into any category because we dont know why the people voted for it. If we had better questions and then more people kinda liked it thats fine..but I will not agree with putting it anywhere and using that as an argument for or against it.
And again you cant go around and say that the forum is a minority and thus should be ignored..and use the poll as a way to show how Eureka is really seen..
(And nice using insults again..just for your information: I did it quite some hours, nearly lvl 12, have seen quite a lot the NM and so on..I still hate it..)
Thank you. That exactly my problem with the poll. Its biased and at the same time you can interpret it in too many way. If I had shown such a poll to my professors when I was still in university they would have verbally destroyed it because it would have manipulated the people in a certain way. (Its like the questions that manipulate you to a certain answer)
I mean it could still end with more people finding it okay (in a more positive way) but we simply cant say it.
