2nd Magicite Help Eureka

I'm not sure this is the best place to ask but I'm stuck at level 6 on my alt and only have one magicite. I've read that the second one is supposed to be at the observatory (and I remember getting one there on another toon) near the bed to the right of that room but there is nothing there for me to click on.

I am unable to progress the story and can't talk to gerolt to convert crystals etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes her npc icon is currently red and when i click on it it says the following:

"Don't forget about that Protean crystal! The last thing you want to be is in debt to Hancock and Rowena!"

I am unable to talk to Gerolt or the Expedition Lockpick NPC to interact with them for items etc. I've gone north to the observatory and inside next to the bed on the right when you enter but nothing is there for me to click on. I have one magicite in the Magia-Melder atm and need the second.

You need to get a protean crystal before you can proceed.

That is the current quest you are on.

you gatta get 1 protean crystal for krile 1st then you can do the quest. chain 30 time XP

Oh I see... I don't have one of those. That's the issue probably.
