    Weird Graphics Issue



    Starting sometime yesterday evening my graphics in game began looking extremely odd. (see attached image for example) I tried restarting the game client, but this has not seemed to resolve the issue. Curiously, it only seems to occur in most but not all zones. When I enter my FC house the house interior is fine. But if I go into the Company Workshop it does this again.

    They're going to ask you for what platform you play on (PC/PS4) and if PC, what your system specs are (look up how to get a dxdiag) and what version of DirectX you use to play the game.

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    Like the above poster mentioned, I'd like to know what platform you are on (PC, PS4, Mac) and when this started happening.

    If on PC, does this same thing happen on directx 9 mode?

    It may be a long shot but I've seen something similar if the HDMI/Display Port cable is loose or faulty, have you tried using a different cable?

    Can you submit a FFXIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.' Then post the results here (PC only).
