Eureka... what were you expecting?

So much salt over Eureka... so many people disappointed over what we got so I'm curious as to what people were actually expecting... in detail... and simply saying "something close to what X game has" doesn't count unless you break it down for people who never played that referenced game.... and GO!

I don't feel disappointed. It breathed new life into forum PvP, all without reward baiting!

I don't recall solo promises. I don't recall much of anything was told or promised to us. SE were intentionally super vague.

I expected something similar to what we had before, as mmos usually do this to keep content consistent. What was got was some pieces of Diadem and POTD in a new zone with significantly more dangerous mobs.

I enjoy it but I can see why people can find it boring. It really does need more activities.

Yeah, the problem is that we shouldn't have to expect such things from the devs from such a successful company. I've tried it, done it, and done it some more...and despite how "easy" it is, I still feel it's subpar. They could have, and should have, done better.

I was expecting exploration missions, daily bounties, daily quests, leveling opportunities both solo and group along with group missions and solo missions.

But all I got was a train.

A big NM train that goes around and around a beautiful map, to where if I play for more than 1 hour I might fall asleep due to boredom.

I heard it was not Diadem, perhaps something where the relics would be worth persuing, so I expected at least that much.

Turns out it was diadem.

That was all I heard, so I had worries that maybe this was going to be a bust and they knew it going in.

Kinda hard to expect anything when most of the profit this game gets doesn't get funded back into improving it. Instead it goes to ffxv how much dlc can we possibly make for this game and ffvii never figure out what we want to do with the remake edition.
