    Eureka lag; reduce player capacity!

    I think I'm the only one who is suffering from this. I reduced the graphics options for playing the game on my GeForce 1060 in the in-game control panel, yet I'm still getting lag. There's discussions about this on Facebook about how to reduce lag, but it's still unbearable. Will there EVER be an option to reduce player capacity in Eureka? Having 144 people in ONE instance is really ridiculous. That's extreme overkill, too. And I can't fight no kill anything without lagging and D/Cing.

    I don't know that it's necessarily a graphics issue. The PS4 chugs along just fine.

    What's not fine is not being able to see the mobs, target the NM, target party members, see attacks, etc. This has been an issue all the way back to any FATE where everyone crowded at once. They know it's a thing. They still designed in such a way that it's a problem regardless.

    They really need to make the game prioritize displaying enemies and party members before anything else.

    I don't think I've had any issues with dying to invisible AoEs yet, though think that's mostly because of other players soaking them for me due to the AoE limit. I have had strange instances of getting hit and visibly displaying damage that should've killed me without actually losing HP, though.

    This. I should be able to turn down the amount of characters displayed on my screen and the game should prioritize in this order : ME, Enemies, NPC's, Party Members, everyone else.
    I should know where I am at all times, where the things that can hurt me are and what they're doing, my ingame allies and what they're doing, my party members and what they're doing. THEN the game can worry about the bard doing the faint emote over and over so it looks like he's humping me.

    Yes I agree Eureka is really playing up for me atm I get boss going invisible, disconnects from the server (instant no lag) and sometimes hit with invisible damage. I mean it is partly the playerbases fault and SE's.

    It's our fault due to finding out that the whole FATE train is the most efficient and it's SE fault for not having more FATES spawn at the same time or more activities that the players can do inside to earn the items. This way the players would'nt all be crammed into one area of the zone.

    A reduction in the limit of how many players can be in a particular instance at once isn't too bad an idea, but in order to prevent all "disappearing" it would need to be a considerable reduction, and Eureka would be considerably emptier for it.

    I think 72 players could be more than enough per instance, or even less. It's terrible to play like this. As I said in other threads, I like Eureka, but it's this what pisses me, the extreme lag and not being able to target boss or party members.

    You're not. I am and so are many others.

    Party members should be ranked higher (preferably after "me"), but other than that, yes.

    Would be nice, but seeing as how I still run into invisible hunts years later after they tried to make fixes to their loading orders, I can only assume that there's only so much SE can do in this regard.

    .. I can see how that might be a priority for healers. I guess I'm weighing it more as a solo kind of player. Definitely enemy first though. Honestly at the party point in my list we're well within I'd say 80% of the playerbases computer capability, turn down settings and everyone should be able to handle at least enemy, NPC, Party.
