I especially don't want to play a female character, due to IRL circumstances, and I'm sure there are many others who wouldn't even dream of it. That doesn't mean I don't want access to a variety of cute clothes, though.I agree. When I brought up this issue with friends of mine, I received "Why don't you just play a female then?" as a response, which to me is absurd. I'm a male, and I like playing masculine characters. There's nothing wrong with males playing females, but it's not something I choose to do, and "Play a female" is a ridiculous answer to the issue.
Would it really have been so hard to job-unlock this for the spring pants, SE?
Gender locking gear or changing gear based on gender is ridiculous. If some people want to dress a certain way, let them dress a certain way. If you don't want to dress your character like that, don't. Make OPTIONS. It's not a hard concept...
