Can We Have Level Sync in Eureka?

Yeah yeah, I know what you're thinking "But Antanias, you can level sync for the Notorious Monsters!!!" What I'm asking for is a level sync option similar to the one in Final Fantasy 11 where exp parties could form up and sync their level down to anyone in the party.

Why? To help lower-level players get caught up so they don't have to spend lots of time in party finder waiting for near-equal level players or shouting in the zone with a ticking clock. Is there any way we can make this happen?

It isn't a new concept or anything, and definitely beneficial. However, SE's answer was "jump potions". I doubt they'll do this, even for Eureka, but it would definitely be nice.

    Level Sync

I would like to see level sync as a feature usable in any setting.

I suppose I don't know how the average person feels, or how they sort their priorities. For me, Final Fantasy XIV represents an ever expanding list of options. There are many places to go. Even though I have long passed the point in time where the Black Shroud was relevant to my progression or story, I still spend time there, and on the occasion I meet someone trying to do content there, I like to help them.

There is precious little I can really do to help them, though, other than FATEs. If I join them in a party in an effort to be social, I nullify all experience gains from defeating creatures, and oblitterate any difficulty, causing a person to rightfully feel less a warrior of light and more of a sidekick, or unnecessary tag along when it's really I who should be tagging along for their story.

One might argue that the experience gain is ultimately insignificant, or that the time spent leveling in such a way is not lengthy enough to merit attention, but I believe people are very sensitive to context, even if such context does not represent a significant difference in their rate of personal growth. In this case, the context is in feeling like they are making meaningful contributions to their accomplishments, and having someone, even a stranger like myself, to acknowledge them and witness that growth.

The novice network goes to some length to address the issue, but I feel it has a tendency to gravitate to treating content like a checklist, completing challenges for a player, rather than with them. For people who want to reach current content as fast as possible, I acknowledge the merits of that approach, but for people who want to feel like a warrior of light in a rich and storied world, I think an alternate approach would be better, and that world wide level sync would at least present an option to act as a companion for our friends to be without robbing them of the feeling of being the hero or heroine of their own story.

I don't remember what event it was as it's now a long time ago, but somebody asked Yoshida and team for this in a live Q&A and after a little back and forth he seemed interested enough to at least consider or investigate if it could be done. Never been any further news on it.

It wouldn't work so well in a place like Palace of the Dead, but it could prove beneficial in a zone like Eureka

I'd definitely like to see it in an area such as Eureka, especially for the casual players, I do fear that this might be content that will be popular for a short time and then once the 'fun' wears off, and everyone has achieved their goals the lower levels will struggle to find groups to party with considering the window of level ability is quite small as well, it would make sense to sync groups

This is a real problem, I can't even help my friends level now, as I am 16, and they get 0 xp for any mobs I touch, or if im in the party. That means they have to slog the first half of the levels themselves.

For reference, killing mobs their level gets them nothing. up to level 5. Tried several.

I've actually held back in Eureka cause of this. Don't want to level to high above my friend and then all of the sudden, hey, we can't do the content together. Last I checked in the normal overworld it's a level difference of 10+ stops you from partying together and earning exp, is it the same level difference inside Eureka?

Party Synch for Eureka would be nice. It was just no real neccessary until now, because in the normal open world you ever level up with quests or with FATEs.
Or a own party finder menu inside of Eureka.

Real talk, I'd buy a jump potion for Eureka. I don't want to level again to enjoy side content...
