Yes we might not know but honestly I hope that we can have at least so much trust in them that they will not manipulate the answers in this. Otherwise can we trust them even in anything anymore? And wouldnt that be a horrible thing for a company?

Yes, would be bad, I should've been more clear about this beign a possible criticism by a part of the community if they don't get what they want, as in picturing a worst case scenario. I mean what stops us from saying that if we don't get what we asked (personal we) from the survey? We won't really have any proof of the results and as you said we'll have to trust them, but enough ppl seems to me that they have no faith in it them anyway, and consider I trust them still but I'm kinda playing devil's advocate here.

@Vhalinor with all due respect but we already had cases of ppl not accepting a negative response from SE with explanations in the past, that's why I'm beign a bit cautious in regards to surveys
