I just want to point out that while what you say about the English language is true, not every foreign business care for it. Actually it would be better to say some will cater to various degrees. You'll have companies that will fulfill their due diligence to make sure their product, communication-wise, is fully taken care of and then some. Other companies will keep it at a really bare minimum to cover necessities only (think customer support for example).

What hurts me though is that there's no...equivalent, for a better lack of word, of Yoshi-P interacting ingame with players NA/EU side. Community members here stick to basic moderating and relaying info...and that's it. Yoshi frequently visits the playerbase, turning his arrival into a pseudo-event, celebrity style. We don't get that at all.
