I accept it because, unlike you and others of the same opinion, I actually like Eureka. Also my biggest pet peeve with Eureka is addressed in their comment so of course I am quite happy with it!

Yes. It's extremely disappointing. The main thing people said was, "Don't make it like Diadem." So they pop out something that used Diadem 1.0 as a basis.
It feels like the team is creatively bankrupt and can't think of good ideas, choose the wrong ideas as inspiration (FFXI exp parties instead of FFXI's structured endgame), and can't give up on a failed idea, determined to make that square peg fit in a round hole if they only keep trying.
I'm not gonna unsub anytime soon because I like other things in the game. Eureka is something I have a compliant about. I also have a house in the game, and I'm not gonna give it up just to stroke your *insert something here* dude. I'll unsub when I'm damn well ready and know it's time. Now is not that time.
Also, who are you, to basically tell me to unsub? You don't pay my sub dude, so please stop thinking that you do.
/2 cents.

I did, you literally quoted my expatiation for it too.
the team releases diadem 1.0, it fails
Doing the same thing, but expecting different results, we got diadem 2.0
Diadem 2.0 fails
Doing the same thing, but expecting different results, we got diadem 3.0
Diadem 3.0 fails, and seen as diadem 3.0, despite SE saying it will not be like diadem.

Well I guess it your right to have an opinion to like something with no content, and something tht was delayed for so long for no content. I like more information why this was delayed for so long for no content, but I guess liking something prevents seeing how little there is to it. Surely you see there is not much to it that validates all the delays?

I see plenty to validate the delay. Quite a few new features (to FF14) exclusive to Eureka, debugging and bug fixing, that sort of thing. Content released too hastily is content full of problems (Zenimax specializes in causing this with The Elder Scrolls Online) and Eureka came with very few. This is a trend SE tends to follow when releasing all of their content in this game.Well I guess it your right to have an opinion to like something with no content, and something tht was delayed for so long for no content. Furthermore, what makes you think your opinion is fact? Because you are certainly acting like it is, and it isn't. Your opinion is your opinion, everyone else's opinions are their opinions. Agree and disagree all you like but no one has any right to call someone out on their opinions saying they are wrong, regardless of whether that is intentional or not with what is said. In fact, that is all that these discussions seem to be turning into: a flame war. If anything, just agree to disagree and let it go. No reason to be so pushy with your opinions and try to make people sound like they are wrong for their opinions if they don't agree with you.

And what new features would that be? The elemental system is the only new thing and its stupid simple. Everything else I guarantee you they copied the code from other areas of the game. The leveling system probably just needed a few minor tweaks after they copied it from PoTD.
Right back at you.
Something something, pot and kettle.
Seriously people can dislike the content and can call it out for not being representative of 17 months development. And more so for calling it out for what it is, the third iteration of Diadem, something we were explicitly told it wouldn't be.
You're really trying to turn this around on me for pointing out what's going on when the people that have been adamantly protesting Eureka are the ones doing it? What are you trying to prove with such a farce? Seriously... Also I never once said my opinions are fact, but what I can say is fact or is as close to fact as logically plausible are reasons for delay. It's honestly obvious when you think about it, but some don't want to acknowledge it as something that can take time. To those people I say try it yourself sometime if you think it is so easy and doesn't require all the time invested. And don't give me any "I wouldn't try to do this anyway" retort because that's just an excuse. You also have to take into account they are constantly working on other content too. That can delay it as well. Had they worked on Eureka only then sure it may have come faster, but who can really say that is the case anyway? Working on other content alongside it may not be part of its delay. If anyone can provide me with solid proof that what I say is not fact but opinion then by all means go right ahead. At the very least, I'll say what I say is speculation of the fact based on logic.
As for the content I spoke of: The elemental levels and magia board, the cross-server "open world" instancing, those are the main things that required the most work to go off with little to no hitches. The rest is debugging to make sure it works properly at least. Everything else in Eureka isn't really new but may have required some debugging to make sure it meshes with the new stuff. And even though PotD has a similar leveling system, Eureka's ties to something else and is completely separate from our actual job levels as opposed to PotD basically "starting us over" until we hit 60, or syncing us to 60. Sure there is also the Aetherpool stats but those differ from how the Magia Board works.
Also I just noticed topics from other threads are spilling into this one. More proof that this is just becoming nothing but a pointless argument where people are trying to prove opinions superior to others, or just plain bash SE. I'm not gonna fault anyone for the latter as it isn't my place but it does kind of contradict the topic of this thread to do so here...

honestly i would say its more the fault of yoshida never wanting to step away from the barebones basic mmo formula :/Yes. It's extremely disappointing. The main thing people said was, "Don't make it like Diadem." So they pop out something that used Diadem 1.0 as a basis.

Breaking news: They don't care what users think. It has been shown time and again.
