Compensation for Eureka Bug?

So I went to bed last night with a level 8, almost 9.

When I woke up, I was a level 6. I went ahead, gave the bug report, and went on with my day. It's new content, I get it, and I know the dev's are working hard on it.

I guess my question is this: How are you going to compensate players who are now running Eureka with lower stats, no longer getting the drops from fates they *should* be strong enough for? Yesterday, I was getting crystals and boxes constantly. Like, I ended the day with my gear and my weapon to the first tier.

Today? I got 16 boxes and 33 crystals, after 300 minutes, or roughly two full runs through Eureka. Fates I could hit yesterday, are too high level for me today. Parties I ran with yesterday, are now much higher level than me today, and I can't keep up with them.

Disclaimer: I mean no disrespect! I respect and understand that they're working hard on fixing the issue for each person, and I'm happy to wait!

At best you'll probably just get refunded the exp, not the levels. You'll level past your previous level and get a chunk of exp, not levels. They're certainly not going to refund your real losses (opportunity costs and time).

The few people I've seen say got their fix did indeed confirm they're just refunding you the lost experience points instead of levels themselves, so I wouldn't expect much beyond that. There's not really any way to compensate you for what you would have been able to do, short of maybe providing a day of game time or something similar. I'm still waiting on them to refund my level, but I'm just going to sit it out until they actually figure out the bug causing this.

What's annoying is it's still happening - when will they fix it? I lost 2 levels as well, and right now I'm just not playing - which is a shame, because I love eureka.

Did you guys leave the instannce, get kicked from it or you logout when you're in it still? I heard it happens when the instance's timer runs out and you're still in there.

I just dipped about 40 minutes in, afk'ed then came back and did some potd. Zoned back into eureka and bam

Only thing you can really do is put in your bug report like they suggested in their lodestone post and hope they get around to you.

There are a ton of fan theories going around right now about what causes it but everyone seems to have a different situation so as far as I can tell there's no easily identifiable cause. In my case I left via the boat after helping a friend and AFK'd in town for like an hour before logging onto an alt to do Little Lady's Day before it went away.

Those affected - are you avoiding eureka till you're restored? Or are you just re-levelling? I'm worried I'll be wasting my time if I go back in, but I really do enjoy that place.

It has nothing to do with where you logout i logged out at my fc house after i was lvl 7 in eureka and just to log in today to see im lvl 3 now thats 2 days of grinding i wont play that crap no more if i dont get my lvl 7 back they better give me my lvl 7 back
