    eureka

    generally i do like eureka and challenges it brings and is definetly way better compared to eorzean leveling system, but content inside eureka still needs to be improved. what i hate most is that how easy it is for 100+ people to just zerg all the fate mobs and fates takes all the fun from them and how leveling in group is a lot more efficient than going solo.

    what kind of changes i would like to see is to increase solo exp by 30-50%, slower fate spawns so all 144 players aren't at same spot spawning fates and maybe also make them give less xp for too low/hight level players. and for exp fairies they shouldn't stay in 1 location for a long time, shorter buff duration 20-30min and maybe give the buff from killing fairy so again full instance wouldn't swarm there and it would also make everyone move around more and explore

    The place does need changes, yes.

    Now, if you try to solo something that is your level and above, you already get a great amount of exp compared to killing the same thing in a party. The problem being that very few jobs have the capability of doing so reliably. The special Eureka potion, which applies a powerful regen, helps but its not enough. Not to mention it is very slow. An exp buff for soloing already exists per se, as I explained, but another buff would be nice.

    The exp buff fairy moving around the map is also a good idea, I agree with this. Gives one just a little more reason to explore. They should probably add hidden chests or something because exploration in that place holds absolutely no reward.

    And about the FATE zerg, I am afraid that it will remain that way for a while, as it is the best and fastest way to get things done in Eureka. If by any chance you see it slow down that spells trouble and more likely the end of Eureka's active lifespan. A slowdown to the zerg means that less people are on it because they already finished getting whatever they wanted to get. Its been a short time since Eureka went live and already people have the +2 weapon. Once they find the source of the feathers, they will farm that, upgrade the weapon to relic status and most likely leave.

    No players = no FATE spawning and clearing = Eureka on deathwatch.

    Personally, I enjoy the grind and the FATEs when I can participate.

    one possible change to fates is that your group spawns your own boss so that would split all parties semi nicely but then would also have to increase number of bosses since there's only 1 per lvl atm, tho it would also scale down the epicness of all of them too

    You know, maybe they should make it so that NMs only give elem EXP to players near the NM's range... oh wait, that'll split high levels and low level parties apart and turn it into a caste outright...
