revisit character customization y/n?

I love the Miqote race but I hate pretty much all the hairstyles available to them. I love the Aura but I hate that I can't change the horns independently from the face like I can with the tail. I hate that things like eyes, lips, nose are all tied to only face and also can't be changed independently. I jump between looks a lot because I generally don't like certain aspects that come with it just because there's no option to change them. >:T

I'd mostly like to see options separated from each other better. Don't tie our options for beards, scars and similar facial features, or Au Ra horns to what face we select.

E.g. In the Highlander case, there is a selection already for beards, but each face has three completely different beard styles available (along with a no beard option in each case). Let us combine any of the 12 beard styles we like with any of the faces. (This wasn't even obvious when creating a character, since we get to the face selection first, then when we get to the beard selection it looks like a straightforward four choices. I wouldn't have even realized there were other beards available if I hadn't been going back and forth, from faces to beards and back to faces again. I'm pretty sure the same goes for scars, etc, on all races.)

It would be nice, sadly the servers are made of melted potatoes, pretty sure they can't handle more than what they already are dealing with.

To be fair, tying certain facial features like beards and shit to different faces and races is so obnoxiously boneheaded, what is even the point? It doesn't add anything, it just pisses everyone off.

I want them to fix up the character creator, but I really wouldn't count on it.

it cost time and time is money. and the money from ff14 goes straight to other se projects. i will eat a raw lala if this is not the case.

This is just a rumor. Square Enix doesn’t disclose this kind of information to us.

More options would be a welcome addition. Though i don't see it happening until we get a revamp on the scale of 1.0 to 2.0 and that i feel wont come around again (i want to be wrong here, maybe 6.0 or 7.0?).

Lastly many think more sliders are the answer though i have played many mmorpg's and the things i have seen have left me haunted, to say the least questioning humanity as a whole...







Sliders are fine but the scale needs to stay within reason, people can't be trusted with to much power.

I would just be happy to have more face models and facial part pieces to play with. No reason to overhaul the whole system when all it needs is more options.

I really wish for the god sake that we can see an improvement in 5.0.
It's time for a revamp on this game, and I'm serious about it.
SE pockets are full with our money and they even don't care in give us what we asking for.

* More faces options.
* Let us use more than one face paint, GOD ....
* Tattoos. In what ever we wanna put them. I mean body and also our face.
* Body shapes. A preset one, I can get that maybe it's difficult to have this in a slide, I just want presets.

* Except for the body ... Can we get slides for all the others options? Please. There's other games that have this. PS4 is not an excuse. WHY this one do not have it? Rebuild the game if it's necessary, I do not care. I gave my money almost 2 years. And many people are in my situation or even worse. So, do it.

I will wait till one day 5.0 arrives ...

I personally prefer to have the missing sexes added ebfore any customization revamp, finish the races adn then upgrade on them, just my opinion ofc
