I seriously support this. Idk about anyone else, but I'd certainly like to play a fem Au'ra that actually looks like the same race as the males besides having horns and scales. Yea I get that there's the sexual dimorphism thing but?? that's never consistent with biology anyways, even if it is the most common, I still don't see why there wouldn't be the occasional large female and small male.
A character creation revamp with new options for body, faces, and voice would be amazing and I need the ability for big dragon women in my life.

also inb4 anyone goes "but I don't want to make my fem characters big or my male character's small!" just? don't then? the option being there wouldn't mean you had to do it as well.

I would love a normal waste for my au ra, beard options for all would be nice to. Would also like to fix that stupid disparity for the height between male and female au ra.

* Since the first fan fest (and likely earlier, I didn't keep track of it then) people brought up more beards since the ones we have are a joke.
* Yoshi talked about MNK getting tattoos as weapons (Like Snow in XIII had the designs change in his coat I guess) instead of some of the fist atrocities we get at times.

I am aware that programming takes time (especially if it's programming something like a re-haul of one of the larger aspects of the game, like character creation is.) But so long as they said "We're working on this." I'd be more than willing to wait four years for it so long as they gave updates on it to prove that they were actually working on it.

am agreed vv i can wait patiently if someone said it was being looked into, but no comment yet, so we should be fussy if we want it! lol

I would love to see more facial hair added for other races. I think it’s a bit silly we don’t already have it.

I would enjoy new options from a wider range of body types (personally I actually want huger boobs/hips/butt), to different faces, tattoos, horn types and even ears. I'd love if I could have longer ears. Really I think PSO 2 has some of the best char customization because you can even move your accessories around. What might normally could be a generic headband could be combined with other parts to make a one of a kind hat.

Being realistic, I don't think they will do much. I think that not only are textures the problem, but I think the base game can't handle it.

Thinking more about it, I think the base game itself might be the cause of a lot of woes for the game in general.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. Given what happened with 1.0 I'd wager that they were faced with the options of either completely rewrite the game from scrap, or rebuild from the original code. More than likely, given time and budget constraints, they picked the latter option, and now they're in a place where that's coming back to bite them on the ass.

I suspect, only suspect mind, that it would take something equivalent to WoWs Cataclysm to fix it. Blizzard jumped on the chance of that expansion to fill in code so the core zones were capable of flight and a lot of other things like that. That is probably what Square would have to do in order to allow this game to shine to its potential.

So until they get the chance to do that, if they ever do, I agree we're not likely to see changes. But damn I would like them. I love my kitty, but I'd love her more if I could more properly display she's not a pampered house cat.

I wouldn't mind more options. More facial hair choices (Miqo'te only get 1, for example), breast slider on Lalafell that actually functions (I did not know that a certain, recently-introduced Lalafell was NOT a female until the text told me).
