I like how the White Knights keep trying to defend the s*ithole that is Eureka. Darty has a right to be heard. This is a PUBLIC forum after all. You have no right to basically tell him to "shut up and keep it yourself". And I understand why he is leaving. I'd leave too after the disappointment of this latest patch if it wasn't for my house. They took over a year to work on this. I wanted Eureka to be exciting and fresh...you know something to get me engaged. What we got...was s**tty zerg grindfest diadem 3.0 with some not so ffxi-ish elements thrown in. FFXI had grind, but this...is trash. Content shouldn't put you to sleep. Just saiyan.

First off, I'm not "White Knighting" Eureka. It has its issues and I readily accept those and believe they need to be addressed. You find it horribly offensive to your sensibilities, fine, but there are some good points amidst the bad ones.

Second off, I didn't tell him to "keep it to himself". I told him that if he wanted to discuss his issues with Eureka without inflaming masses that he should have kept it to that topic and not espoused over the fact the he's unsubbing over it. The content failed you, fine. Complain about the content, talk about what you don't like, how and why you want it fixed or why it's not for you. He stated that he didn't want this to be an angry discussion, but when you start a conversation the way that they did you're going to get people up in arms, plain and simple. If he wants to leave that's fine, but he doesn't need to get on a chair and tell everyone that he's leaving. If you did this in public at, say, a bank and said, "I'm closing all my accounts here and let me tell you why!", people would not respond well. If you, instead, stood up and just said what problems you had, people are more likely to listen without getting pissed off.

So I'll thank you not to put words in my mouth and take my comment horribly out of context. Good day.

I have over 478 days of playtime , not days subscribed that is hours logged.

Problem is, people make it a mob masher, you are really not supposed to big group pull and smash it all down as soon as possible. I really hate the fact people did that so many times yesterday and we kept wiping because they think it's the only way to beat things. Not only that if people had aggro, people would just shout bring them to boss then we would wipe and not even kill it.

Wow coming from a Saiyan that seems sad. First to call Eureka trash even though it's been out for a few days is kind of sad. I for one like the fact that you have to use common sense to survive, play around with elemental properties, and team work. Those of us who like certain types of grinds can see the rewards. The way it seems is that people are impatient and want a trophy for trying. Eureka can be soloed just not recommend, not to mention that NM battles while it may be a Zerg type is just a way to speed up leveling and farming items that would take time to develop. It's only the first stage, and besides it is optional content. If people don't like it and rage quit over something so little it just means they have no patience. We all deal with it some of us like it, some of us don't. Personally I am more curious about the Animos weapons stats and while this may be a PUBLIC forum, keeping negativity out makes it more enjoyable. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and pay their fees, however judging without actually at a minimum having gotten access to all of it is being pretty narrow minded.

the problem is that saying "im unsubbing" is nothing of value to a discussion. Suggest changes, be a part of the pushback to SE, research things...all of these bring more value to discussion than "im unsubbing".

I've seen my share of people defending games and baffling design over the years, but honestly the defenses I've seen in the past few days have hit a new low in attempts to defend something bad.

Give us EX trials we cant beat in 4 pulls with no guide
Fix your normal mode raid difficulty its to easy and savage should be savage not semi- cupcake difficulity.

Not ragging on you or anything OP but if you're going to say this. At least clear the "semi-cupcake difficulity" raids yourself. Looking at your lodestone you haven't even beaten delta or sigma. You haven't beaten HW raids too, midas or creator.
And the EX trials, you haven't beaten shinryu as well.
So hope what you're posting on is an alt if not....maybe you should...beat what you're telling the dev's to fix?

The usual, it's either "I want harder content" or "I want every one in my team to be able to kill the boss". You can't have both at the same time.

You either get stuff or die trying.
And most of the player base would actually quit if they didn't get their stuff.

Because ppl need to stop the mindless grinding of non-nm spawning mobs. Communicate with other parties in the instance. You saw 1 NM in 2hrs, we popped 8NMs with communication in the same time. Honestly, I think the intention of the non-NM popping trash was for folks that do want to solo and part of the zone design and feel. For many solo folks it is doing something other than being parked in Limsa or another hub. Because they do have more playtime than others.

Communication is important but how do you propose people communicate the <pos> of a NM when people are shouting random <pos> and party invites nonstop, even then you have to get in at the right time because they sure as hell aren't solely based on kills but also a timer. Lets not forget the sheer amount of people in the instance at once, so instead of being part of the solution they will go farm one of the other NM spots and pop other NM's while people are still trying to pop theirs.

It's the same concept although I farmed NMs and got a bit more but the xp was trash, people don't realize you need the xp to get to the higher areas or the mobs which are impossible to avoid with a massive train of people. Soon people will be popping them and not calling them because they want the xp/loot to themselves once they get high enough.

as you said,weak trial,braindead dungeon etc....

Been 4 years im on the game,and its just some laughing stock at some point,every update cant be finish in less than 1 day,6month of waiting for 8 fucking hur of gameplay.
so yeah,until Se decide to invest in the game and not in sake and soap service,maybe the game would "reborn" lel
