Eureka RNG Woes

I woke up this morning after a night of Eureka grinding and just thought....this is actually pretty awful.

The one thing that has really gotten under my skin is the rewards being untradeable/unbuyable.


My FC and I ran POTD to 200 4 - 5 times and despite getting dozens and dozens of those gold sacks, I never got a pegasus. Ever. Most of my friends got at least 2. Eventually on our last run I was gifted one and giggled at for being the most unlucky. I also love to collect music for the orchestration in this game and I'm just pretty damn disappointed that there's a real possibility I might never get these songs and what was a complete list for me might now have holes in it.

I'm a raider, so the gear/weapons isn't much of a carrot since I'm almost BiS Diamond and from previous experience, this gear won't become viable until the end of the very last tier, which is totally fine, I get that this is non raider content. But also "Savage" (in my opinion) is so damn easy lately I can't imagine that clearing o6s for a weapon will take even a casual player longer than grinding Eureka.

So, I'm here for the rewards. Which are rng. From an RNG spawn. Which cannot be traded and will therefore be discarded in lucky players inventories who have received more than one. I mean, I've been to Japan, I get that they love the luck/rng based rewards, them claw machines with are everywhere. But for me, there's no reward to work for. At least give us tokens, even if the number required is astronomically high, so that eventually we can get what we're here to grind for.

The whole thing is kinda depressing.

How does everyone else feel about being potentially locked out of rewards due to RNG only acquisition.

Drop rate of crystals goes up as you exp on harder mobs. Level 1-3 have bad drop rates but as you get past that point and start exping on harder mobs the drop rate is way higher.

Thank you for your comment but as I wrote in the OP, I'm not really here / talking about the gear. I understand there are tokens to buy that and eventually I'll get it.

I feel the same, I'm upset that the music and mount are untradable as well. My RNG comes and goes, but I think its ridiculous that the loot is available in the current form. Everyone who gets the loot once is pretty much stuck with extra crap that they can't do anything with. Can't trade it, sell it, or give it to friends. And from what I understand, the only way to get it is the NM which you'll want to be in a group for. So much for solo content.

I think its pretty obvious they know the only way people will do this terrible content is by gating some really cool stuff behind it. Don't expect the terrible loot boxes to be changed.

Even if I have to sit out here for hours for music and mount then I'll do it.

Just the possibility of putting in so much time and potentially get nothing for it is heartbreaking.

I just recently discovered that there level 2 & 3 quests. My main's almost level 4 & he's gated behind the protean crystal quest. I have not had one drop.
