Could you at least increase the fate spawn in Eureka?

No. That would require another 6 Months of development.

the fates arent on timers like normal fates. they appear to be spawned by killing placeholder mobs. some have unconfirmed weather conditions as of yet. Made a post about this thats a few down.

As of now, there are no known random spawns. they all seem to be attached to killing mobs of the same type. so waiting in town wont get you NM pops :P

Thing I like about Eureka is that you don't need to hop from FATE to FATE. You are supposed to grind mobs there and FATEs are just a rare and nice extra reward.

To me it seems like killing mobs is what you do because you have nothing better to do, and then a NM is a single drop of water which hundreds of dying men gather around for just a hint of relief.

If this is how it works and I'm seeing like maybe 1 fate throughout my entire lockout timer if I'm lucky during what is going to be the most active time this place will ever see I can't wait to see how rare they are gonna be a week from now when most people have given up.

Considering it seems you just need to kill 90-100 specific mobs (Val Bear to spawn bear NM. Unsure if 30 Kill Chain is a requirement), time until spawning NM could be between 30-60+ minutes. Unsure if three groups hunting their own section of mobs will increase the spawn rate. Time until window opens for NM spawn is also unknown (probably 1 hour, maybe more/less).

I saw at least 4 in my last run ^^

While there are a lot of people, not all mobs seem to spawn something (yet). Some of us were trying to target the few that have already been found.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comme...n_eureka_kill/

When we got to some of them, no one was attacking them. Thus having 144 people is still no guarantee people will always be targeting the RIGHT mobs.

If this is true, then Eureka will turn into a collaborative thing where one party takes on each known spawn mob so that together the whole map will get more NMs, and that might actually be fun.
