This is incredibly disingenuous. People have provided plenty of reasons beyond simple complaints.

    - Dungeons are essentially aesthetic changes with little in ways of variation; offering absolutely no challenge so long as you have a pulse.
    - Lackluster difficulty and single encounter boss fights in lieu of actual raids are the most common reasons provided.
    - Perhaps due to FATEs being inspired zergfests with little to no mechanics

You can't go faulting the playerbase when they're getting tired of the same stale copy/paste content. Tell me, what has Stormblood offered that differs from Heavensward or ARR? The fact nothing does... is part of the problem. Eureka simply repeats the same safe approach they have practically sworn by. That's why people are complaining. We were promised new, exciting content. Eureka isn't either of those.

Remove all the cast timers, AOE markers, target lines, hate tables and add friendly fire and you have a challenge that makes players work together. It'll make the MMO crowd go ballistic though.

    So basically we want nothing.

    * Barring Bardam's Mettle. Every other dungeon has had the same structure since late ARR. Hallways lead to Boss.
    * The raid issue has been mostly the quest instances to unlock them and how their instance servers have failed 3 times since SB launched.
    * FATES are fine, but they have varying levels of difficulty that many times don't match the region and need a certain number of people to be cleared, regardless of skill. Not every Server is a large one with easy access to a high population willing to do something. They assume perfect conditions and always scale UP if otherwise, not DOWN for when they are not met.
    * Eureka is a good concept.I don't hate it, I just think it can be better. It is to me, just a half-baked execution that again, is either a limitation of code or a limitation of resources. (I am ranting on another group so my feisty toxicity is elsewhere)

We want something better than what we get. They just need to drop the "please look forward to it" and "hyping" it and focus MUCH more on delivering, and if they don't, be able to look back and fix it asap. Apologizing means to regret what you did, regretting means you'd want to do things differently. The regret part is not happening because they really don't regret it or they can't do anything BUT regret it.

I actually enjoy the old style level grinding gameplay that Eureka has brought us. I started playing mmo's when Everquest was new back in 1999. Also played about 6 years on FFXI.

During the level grind parties in both games I met some great people that I keep in touch with still today. You would grind in an area long enough to make friends.

Today with the instanced parties that last 40 minutes, friendships have no time to develop. Doing dailies for gear seems to be the norm now.

Eureka gives us a chance to hang out with the FC for the night and get to know the other members in person instead of only in chat. Use it as a fun time to interact with each other in person.

This game is so fast paced, pushing people through content at break-neck speeds, it leaves us wanting after only a few weeks once new content is released. Eureka gives us a chance to relax and enjoy the view and "stop and smell the roses".

Just the way I take it.

And there are alot of folks that feel the same way - they probably just dont post on the forums - so using the word we when stating ones opinions is misleading - as Remedi stated

It really doesn't. I would MUCH rather go back and play EQ or WoW at launch over this content. While there was a 'grind', it wasn't mindless. It required effort and you got something out of it. You grew your character, advanced, made strides to be better than other players. There was a point to the 'grind' of an MMO back then. Now it's just to try and keep us patient until the next mindless garbage of content is released.

The players asked however don't whitewash that, if they didn't ask for something that doesn't mesh well for the game because it's not built for it to work with those parameters we wouldn't be talking about this

@vhalinor(posts cap): My point is DON'T EMULATE IT, if ppl crave for that content go to the source don't ask for an emulation it will never live up to it

Well i can guarantee you we don't want ANYTHING that resembles Diadem...and yet they cut the vendors right out of there and plopped them right at the start of Eureka to trigger your PTSD.

I'm actually quite a big fan of this.
It brings back the feelings of an MMO that I've always wanted in todays age.
