Eureka is exactly what I thought it's gonna be.
Relics were always about grind and they will always be.
At least now we got a new pretty big map and some Lore to grind in.

This is not XI content. This is XI's Valkurm Dunes exp parties. This is XI content:

What Eureka is... is what people specifically asked them not to do: Diadem 3.0.

As if the forums isn't used as an echo chamber for moaning, look in the first impression threads there are ppl that asked for this content and are actually enjoying it, but they are buried by the moaning of others and I spotted some players simply reposting their first impressions.
It's this the community that should give feedback in a possible test server? I sure hope not, I'd rather have the game made worse by the devs than by other players

This argument is becoming stale now. Some people like it? So what? Some people also liked 1.0 which was an objectively bad game. It was so objectively bad it flopped and did a number on SE financially. But I guess we should ignore those facts because some people played and liked it?

And lets not ignore the fact that this is the third time something like this has happened. Diadem 1 and 2 were both widely considered failures in game design. And both saw massive and rapid drop off in player participation. And both saw people like yourself trying to complain about the complainers with the defense that "Some people like it".

This is a pattern and has precedence, so stop trying to hand wave the problem away. You like it? Good for you. But most people don't and are rightfully making noise to let it be known shallow content like this isn't acceptable anymore.

The majority of people asking for FFXI-like content are asking for content that was like FFXI's endgame. Not for level 10 Valkurm Dunes parties.

Seems you have to ELI5 to them so they get the message. More FFXI content is pretty vague imo.

The issue is no one, especially ffxi players asked for what we got in this content.

Open world exp parties is as far as you can make a comparison of ffxi to this content. They took the absolute shallowest aspect of this and made it a mind numbingly boring experience. Button mashing without thought endlessly without break. No ffxi player was secretly begging for how this turned out.

You could easily make a more friendly version to exp parties (hell for actual exp) that isn’t this dumb.

I don’t expect perfection. I’ve been playing since 1.0 and am pretty patient with them trying to get things right, but this is garbage and an insult to ffxi players if this is what the development team thinks of us.

Today's old MMORPG player are asking for what they liked before. Nostalgia, real fact that "was better before"? dont know, and dont care!

People asked so, for FFXI.
Yoshida gave FFXI... FFXI leveling... spamming trash, again and again, in a party, to get a big chain kill to have big XP.

But is it really what people asked? Did they asked more a Dynamis-like thing? probably...

Eureka is a leveling content in max level. You need to finish your leveling to do it
You need to be max lvl to be allow to do a leveling content...

I would prefer Yoshida watch on high level content from FFXI...
