Thaumaturge Ifrit guide

Sometimes people screw up their hellfire-prep. For example, you think Ifrit's jumping to the centre, so you use Sentinel, then proceed to watch him do dashes for the next 15 seconds before hellfire.

2 nails is certainly not essential, but makes things safer.

Yes, things happen.

I'm a squishy mage and last night I used Sentinel to survive when getting caught between 2 eruptions -- then Hellfire came with 15 seconds left on my Sentinel cooldown. I was really glad we had taken down 2 nails and I was able to survive with Sanguine Rite alone. ^^;

Thanks for the guide again, finally tried Ifrit 5 times and wife was able to get Ifrit bow and I got Ifrit Cane I want the bow orz...

I have done Ifrit at least 30 times now and only have 1 totem plus the Harpoon -- and I'm still at R18 for Lancer. ><;

You lucky subligan. I've beaten him at least a dozen times and all I've got is a single totem. ;_;

must be the effect of subligar.... i got 3 totem and 1 cane, wife got 1 totem and the bow... maybe server with less people = more chance of drops??? I dunno what it was looked like totem was dropping fine for the other people and saw 1 axe (duplicate for that person) and sword for another guy. Maybe first and only lucky that I'm going to see for a long while in future Ifrit runs

I just wanted to say thank you again for this guide.

I usually play main healer during Ifrit battles, but last night I was asked to go in as a Thaumaturge -- which was quite new for me. So I found your guide to be very helpful!

Still no weapon drops, but I have 2 Inferno Totems instead of just 1 now. ^^;
