Steps:
1. At gathering Node with successfully met condition for (+1 gathering attempts)
2. 4 successful gathers (out of 5 attempts)
3. Brunt Force SHOULD become available, but does not.
4. Attempt 5 succeeds, making chain 5
5. Brunt Force becomes momentarily available, and node disengages because no more attempts left

If you look at the text that pops up on your screen as you chain gather, you will notice that chain #1 appears on your second consecutive gathering attempt. Likewise, chain #2 is on the third, chain #3 is on the fourth and chain #4 is on the fifth.
