Aymeric, he feels more fleshed out as a character, Hien doesn't seem to have much depth and feels rather generic.
A very good point. Although to be fair Aymeric has been around since 2.4

Aymeric began to bore me the moment he became Haurchefant 2.0 and many of his fans put me off the character altogether due to their creepy obsession with him.
As for Hien, I like his character design. He was humble, polite and friendly whilst not being overly stiff. He has a great voice, too - and I like that he proposes his own ideas without leaning too heavily on the Warrior of Light. I also like how he acknowledged that Yotsuyu had a point - misguided though her actions may have been - by vowing to remember her words.
It's way too early for us to really judge Hien since he just got introduced; so far, he's a nice character. We'll see how he develops throughout the expansion of Stormblood.
HOWEVER, I'm Team Aymeric; that fine Elezen has my heart. :] Still waiting for Temple Knights to become a Grand Company so I can ditch Twin Adder lol

You can ditch the Adders now. The Maelstrom is playableIt's way too early for us to really judge Hien since he just got introduced; so far, he's a nice character. We'll see how he develops throughout the expansion of Stormblood.

Aymeric's been around longer, so he's probably the "better" character right now. Hien hasn't had much time to develop. Time will tell.
