Wait... I just thought of something
...
The mount is a dinosaur...
-and people are worried about this being another Diadem...
omaigawd, is the mount a nod to Diadem 1.0's "Dinosaur island??"(sorry if this has been noted elsewhere, just dawned on me though)

I'm satisfied seeing the increased drop rate on the Susano and Lakshmi wolf mounts. I also like the fact one can turn in 99 totems for their respective wolves too.
As long as the Hildibrand story delivers like it always does, I don't mind having 2 quests. (Keep in mind that there were only 2-3 Hildibrand quests in HW for each patch they came out in.)
For Eureka, I'll reserve judgment until I play it.
I'm not much of a PVP person in this game, so I can't comment on it.

here's to hoping Eureka RNG won't be too horrible.

Eureka sounds pretty fun, can't wait to try it. I like that classic roleplaying element system.

i already know how i am going to lvl in eureka with lots of flash spam to get credit on everyone else's kills![]()

So here's one thing that maybe I'm just not understanding. Are we able or encouraged to level up multiple elements? Pretty sure that's a common sense yes, but some things in FFXIV have not followed the common sense trend.

yes you get 20 lvls to put between 6 elements that each lvl up to 5 each
i just wish it was true xD
I don't think this is right.
It sounds like your elemental level is 1-20, in general, to correspond with monster elemental level. To get affinity, you need to meld magicite to the board, which we get through the eureka story. We can only change that in town through the magia melder, but we can spin the board so we can change elements in the field. So if we set five fire magicite, but get jumped by a wind enemy, we can change to whatever wind is weak to so it doesn't eat us as bad. But we can only decrease or increase the fire total and put it on wind in town.
Idk, theres some subtle stuff in there. Like we need protean crystals to upgrade gear, but it also says we need specific items which they don't name. I hope to god these aren't the same as past relic steps, bought w tomes.

The magia board is divided into six sections, each representing a different element. Melding magicite to the board will enhance the player's affinity to a given element. Magicite is earned by progressing through the Eureka story.
relooking at the patch notes at this part specifically it would seem you are right.
