You actually CAN still have multiple personal houses on same account, IF you had them pre 4.2 patch. I do, and was grandfathered in. I just can't have any more after the 4.2 cut off.

Your best option, plan B, is to buy a 500k apt for your alt and use it now. Who knows how many week, months, or even years it'll be until Square enix let's alts share a home with a main character.

No, I did read, and understand your point, and responded to it. Players have been asking square enix to let alts share house with our main characters for years. I'd LOVE that idea. It's been discussed dozens of times on these forums. There still is no official word as to when they will implement this wish.
