    I suppose the best way I could put it is how in FFX they had two people with a sword. Aaron with the great sword who was supposed to tank, and also Tidus...who was squishy, I know the roles of tank, dps, healer may not be adapted here, but just for example. I mean sure you could say Tidus had a shield, but he was more agile, quicker then a tank/Aaron.

    2-handed Hammers for Berserker job. I'd imagine it being a slow, heavy hitting dps class that uses HP as a resource for the stronger skills and recovers hp when using the weaker skills. The heavy hits would primarily be different ground smashes that does ground breaks like Arm of the Destroyer does. Players would hold the handle low and the head would lay on the ground for their in between animation. When in Berserker Rage, players would hold the hammer on their shoulder, holding the whole weight.

    I came up with an idea for a ranged Tamer DPS class that uses a glaive. It is pretty different than most tamer ideas in that it is ranged and you dont tame wild creatures. You pick your partner at the start of the job.

    as a work around to another Greatsword wielder (cause Greatswords have become a FF staple somehow) if Magic Knight or Mystic Fencer or whatever they can essentially add Bastard Swords (the middle ground of Giant twohanders/claymores, and smaller one handers/broadswords), probably renamed magic sword or rune blade or something

    also, I just like swords

    I would say some sort of doll like Lulu from FFX, but Black Mage already has staves/scepters.

    Maybe something for Necromancer if they make it more of a utility caster to differentiate from Summoner/Black mage?

    not sure what class work best but here some weapon that i like to appear in the future

    - double bladed sword
    - sword whip (or is it whip sword?)
    - tonfa
    - 2 handed hammer
    - cards (not AST cards but legit cards as weapon)
    - paper talisman (onmyoji stuff)
    - gun on left hand, sword on right hand (definitely limsa lominsa theme class =P)

    I never said that RDM wasn't endgame viable. I said I wanted it to have a base class, Fencer, and that that base class should be endgame viable as a wholly melee alternative to RDM for those who like swift one-handed single-sword combat.

    Consider it like Gunner and Machinist, if Gunner were then allowed to continue as a wholly sniper or gunslinger aesthetic and Machinist doubled down on its engineering and combat crafts.

    (The ulterior motive being all the amazing stuff that could then pull off if cross-classing were ever made a real thing, rather than lackluster lip-service to be replaced with further lackluster systems...)
