First successful housing patch??

The forums aren’t flooded with all the whining and complaining we normally see on a housing patch.

Since the player base (mostly) only likes to post to complain about it, the lack of complaints and available housing on some servers means it was at least a small win.

Yeah we know there wasn’t enough meds it larges because fc transfers, but a house is a house.

3.3 was a great housing patch as well. Glad this one ended up more like 3.3 than 4.1.

My ward still has open plots on Hyperion, its on the goblet to be fair, but it's been 15 hours.

I'd say successful for sure.

Didn't get one on balmung even after logging in 1 minute after maintenance and running through all the residential areas. The lack of complaining bothers me because it means they probably won't doing anything about the fact that once again no one can buy houses on balmung. They'll just pat themselves on the back for a job well done and be done with it

If the house is game breaking thing for you - transfer. On Cerberus after 15 hours there is still a lot of small houses even in districts like Lavander and Mist, while Goblet is probably half empty.

Omega is a fairly well populated world and we have an assortment of plots remaining, what is funny though, of the plots that are taken only a small portion of them have any furnishings and in a lot of cases are completely empty and have been since creation months a go. One of my friends has a neighbor that owns plot 5 in Mist which is all good and fine except this guy doesn't actually play on Omega he just logs in to keep ownership so nobody else could obtain it, this is probably true for many plots, people just want to own plots and have no intention of using them at all.

I think we've reached the point where there are enough wards to satisfy demand across all the servers but a few servers (Balmung) are still so full that they'll never have enough wards. Future expansions are likely to have more housing areas which means 18 more wards each expansion, I think that will alleviate some of the overpopulation issues and provide room for growth.
