    Similar logic applies to Blank. They removed its damage so all it does now is knockback. Why doesn't it do both like it used to?
    Blank not doing damage actually makes sense though because it's... a blank. Also, be glad that they took away damage from it because honestly, people just knocking back mobs with reckless abandon because MAH DEEPZ was annoying as shit to every melee in your party.

    With Repelling Shot you're still presumably shooting something at the enemy, and it doesn't affect anyone else because it only sends the user back.

    I can honestly see where this request comes from.
    whenever i play red mage, after my opener corps-a-corps is like 3 seconds off every combo and it's the only part of red mage that doesn't line up.

    just kind of a feels like the right thing vs walking towards target during your instant cast periods and using your gap closer mid-melee combo just for damage. Much less epic feeling =p

    even better would be shifting the damage from those skills to the actual damage ogc stuff so you can use your utility for the utility instead of a damage necessity

    Recast time is different because it's usually used about 5 seconds from Displacement. You get 80/80-> Corp-a-corp->do your 1-2-3->then Displacement out. Because the intent was to Displacement 3-4 GCDs after Corp-a-Corp, the recasts are intentionally different.

    I can agree that it makes them line up more pretty, but if they have the same cooldown and your melee combo happens to take the same amount of time to charge again, you'd be using CaC right when it comes up, and Displacement right when it comes up 5 seconds later. That's not important though when you're just using them for damage as they come up.
