having to redownload Stormblood?

I logged in on my PS4 today and its having to download h2017.06.06.0001a. Is this Stormblood? I was just playing yesterday. Do you guys know why I'm having to redownload?

...I've heard of console related bugs where a redownload can be triggered. And I guess SE hasn't fixed it yet. If memory serves... I think it happens when you turn off the console's power before closing the game, or something like that?

I didn't log out via menu yesterday. I usually just back out using the PS button and close the application before putting it in rest mode.

I think it might be a PSN issue based on region, My cousin had to re install I did not.

It was 28000 MB, I got home just now and apparently some patches failed to download. I now have another 16000 MB to go. That is over 10 hours at a download speed around .60 mb/sec. I'm using AT&T DSL. Sucks living in a small city in Arkansas.
the current file its downloading is h2017.06.06.0001h.

I don't know if this info will help. I checked my data storage and says under FFXIV: Stormblood. Last updated 2-14-2018 68.98 GB. Last time I played was on Tuesday. I did about 8-10 runs of Sigmascape got my Shaft on v4 and crank on v3 before rage quitting after getting a roll of 1 on Pedal on v2 twice in a row. I was mainly Tanking as DRK and once as BLM. I got off around 6 PM Central time. As of this post I'm at about 7000 of the 16000 MB with a download speed of .32 mb/sec mainly cause everyone is home now and online.

My assumption is when you didn't log out of the game properly, it may have corrupted the installation. Regardless of the reason, you will need to download the rest of it. To make sure the issue does not persist, log in and log out normally, turn off the PS4 then start it up again. If you have to download the game again at this point, please let us know.

I assumed that too but It didn't give me a Corrupted data message like it use to on my character UI data a year ago. I just logged in as normal and after putting in my log in information it did the normal checking game data then said something to the effect of beginning first time download or some such. The rest you know. Let me check my notification section real quick.

Ok, sooo. In the upload section there is like over 50 notifications beginning 10-17-2017, last being 1/3/2018 and yesterday at 1:30 which sounds like the time I tried to log in since I started this thread not long after. All but yesterdays say the same thing: The Saved data in online storage is more recent than saved data on PS4, or was created independently of saved data on PS4. Do you want to overwrite? But when I checked yesterdays notification I get an error code. (CE-32948-6) I hope this helps.
