    I'm actually interested on how many things have been shot down due to "x limitations" that really stem from old code. Or things that were "please look forward to it" 4 years ago (beards and Mnk Weapon shifting to tattoos)

    Time will tell as to how much say he does or doesn't have as a result of his promotion, but this is my hope as well. The reality of it is, things probably won't change until something drastic forces their hand (and I believe it will happen eventually), but one can still hope.
