NOT! lol SE isnt loosing any money atm with XIV servers down its free to play atm so its actually saving them money, no? only thing they may be loosing is a part of the already low player base that will most definetly find something else to do to pass the time, then decide rather that or coming back when they do decide to kick back up...

The first person to complain about "lack of content" in the 3 months after FFXIV is brought back online, particularly if it is still free to play, should be bundled into a helicopter and dropped into the Sea of Japan. Fat head first.

After what Japan is going through, making content in a computer game is going to be the last on their list of Things to Do.

I think it's likely that they are losing money, though.

I don't know how much it would add up to, though. Especially since not many people are buying XIV right now.

This Sunday or April. At this point, don't bother turning the juice back on till something refreshing or innovative has been put in the game.

The letter VI states that they are in fact at work, but many employees are with their families, or looking for their families, not able to come in etc. I would guess the servers will not come back online until the Nuclear crisis is stabilized. Not fixed, but stabilized.

from that the yoshida said some time in april they doing a few major updates. Least thats what I read. 1.16a + 1.17 some fixes and battle changes.

and rift is a copy cat game of all the Iron relm games mashed together with WoW graphics. I wouldn't bother with it. Don't believe me? go read the starting stories and watch rifts intro.

those mud start you off in reincarnation as does rift. Plus the elemental planar rifts opening up. Sorery too similar of a story for my tastes.

Sorry when a pretty unknown/ uncommon dev team make a "polished first mmo >.> you gotta wonder the sources.
