never forget main story quest missing scarlet earing

Area and coordinates: Teteroon Upper La Noscea (X:14.7 Y:24.4) this is end coordinate where i'm stuck ...and start 1. Buscarro South Shroud X: 18.1 Y: 19.8

Housing: NA

Steps:
1. Buscarro South Shroud X: 18.1 Y: 19.8
2. Baensyng Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X:5.9 Y:12.2) buy chicken egg
3. Kyokyoroon Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X:6.6 Y:12.2) egg
4. Wineburg Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X:7.4 Y:15.4) at fishing port
5. Ahldfoet Western La Noscea (X:27.5 Y:28.5) at alport docks
6. Teteroon Upper La Noscea (X:14.7 Y:24.4) gave earing, stayed green main story like i didn't give him scarlet earing (key item) and key item is now missing from key items. teteroon is green light. all others are no quest at all npc's now other then wineburg who is a pop up npc. /end tyvm

basically missing key item. says this is a bug from 2017. can't complete main story. not sure if there is still a bug for this one or was deemed fixed but i'm having same issue i see some bug reports about that i can't reply on those pages. so i making this report. sorry if duplicate. tetoroon is green and waihttp://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/members/66657-JackHatchet?tab=characters#charactersting for his earing that was given to him, that is not in key items. tyvm for the help. also reported bug directly in game and awaiting someone to help there if that is how it works. ...edit. they sent me here to create a report for something that was already made 9plus months ago. is my account basically just stuck and useless? the older posts have been added to the unable to verify section, does that mean there is like no fix?
