Healer Horror Stories: Redux

This thread caught my eye, as I've lately had strangely often Keeper of the Lake in leveling roulette with strangely vexing tanks and dps. I heal as a main, SCH is my main since I started this game and I play the other two healers as well and I had this scenario awhile back with my WHM while I was leveling up.

At the beginning, during the first pull, the dps both take crazy amounts of damage and the tank takes quite a bit as well (don't quite remember who was playing what anymore). One of the dps (MCH I think?) actually died twice while I was busy with the tank and the other dps, returned to the start and came running back to the fight only to die for the second time. It was pretty much like that for the rest of the run, maybe a little less dying once I got over my shock.

I was still learning to play the WHM, but I don't think I was that bad having played both SCH and AST for a long time by now and I had decent gear on, so I thought that the tank maybe had a little trouble keeping hate and the dps did seem somewhat unconcerned about the aoes. Suffice to say when we got to Midgardsormr I was juuust a little apprehensive and decided to stick to just healing mainly. In the end, the tank still died once, the other dps twice and the MCH thrice. We didn't wipe though, so all's well that ends well?

Don't know, was a little shaken after that one though. Don't remember a run like that since ever.

Keeper can be one of the worst dungeons with less capable players. And... nice work getting through it. Seriously. If the healer isn't on their game for that one, it is wipe after wipe. You not only got through, sounds like you carried pretty hard.

For me, Alliance is where I have the most derp and if its not Deathgaze from Dun Scaith then its Hashmal from Rabanastre. Or Angra Mainyu from WoD. You know that special feeling you get when you realize you're the only person in the group that knows what they are doing? Thats a regular occurence in Alliance. On the flipside I've walked away with 6-7 comms from being healer hero too. But mostly I'd just like to forgo the derp. T-T
