    i have now uninstalled and reinstalled the game and i still cannot log on to my main character

    Thank you for the update BloodShadow.

    When you reinstalled the game, did you touch the Final Fantasy XIV files in the 'My Documents' folder? If not, try deleting those and see if you can log into your character.
