I was checking some monitors for myself recently, thinking about getting something newer than my 5 years old 1080p Samsung (which is still good enough, but you know...) and the details I'm paying attention are: ISP (I'm working in graphic and do think that ISP is better in colors than TN), 1440p, QHD.

I personally don't think you should use a TV monitor when playing on a PC in case you can afford a proper PC monitor and will play using a standard distance from it (about 2 feet). But it's your call really
